Our staff is a GREAT team!

 We work hard to maintain an excellent staff of doctors, receptionists and technicians. With a wide range of skills and techniques, our staff have been carefully chosen to provide the best care for every patient.  All of our staff have their own pets ranging from cats to dogs, goats to sheep and more!

Dr. Wayne Budding

Dr. Wayne Budding graduated from Wilton High School and then, attended Iowa State University for his pre-veterinary education. He graduated from Iowa State University in 1981 earning his doctorate of veterinary medicine. After, he returned home to Wilton to join his father, Dr. John Budding, in practice. His special interests include internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, and dermatology.

Dr. Budding lives in Wilton with his wife, two sons, and one dog, Rango. In his free time he enjoys hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors. 

Dr. Dawn Kraft

Dr. Dawn Kraft graduated from Iowa State Veterinary Medicine in 2001.  She spent two years practicing small animal medicine in southeastern Wisconsin and five years in Iowa City.  Dr. Kraft’s husband, Jason, is a Wilton native and they live on an acreage near Moscow with their children, Lilly and Nolan. Daisy, a mixed breed of beagle and terrier, Lenny, a golden retriever and cats, Fuzzball, Stoney, & Princess are part of the Kraft furry family. In her spare time, Dr. Kraft enjoys time on the cedar river, fishing, camping, attending sporting events, and spending time with friends and family.

Her special interests in veterinary medicine include internal medicine, soft tissue surgery and new puppy and kitten exams.


Dr. Stephanie Wedeking

Dr. Stephanie Wedeking grew up on a farm in rural Greene County, where her parents are hog and grain farmers. Stephanie is a graduate from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Her main interests include preventive medicine, dentistry, public health, and interactions between owners and their new puppy or kitten. She says, “Teaching responsible pet owners to have respectable pets is a favorite part of my job.”

Dr. Wedeking and her family, including the four-legged kids, Little Jerry Seinfeld (cat) and Xylo (dog) reside in a small town west of Davenport. When Stephanie and her husband are not spoiling their children or working on their fixer-up home, she enjoys flower and vegetable gardening and appreciates the outdoors. She enjoys most activities that get her outside including boating, camping, fishing, hiking and photography.
